Toby Durgan Hospitalized after Southington Car Accident on Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike
Southington, Connecticut (February 2, 2020) – Toby Durgan, 63, of Southington, was among two people injured early Saturday morning in a fatal crash in Southington.
The two-vehicle accident took place at around 1:27 a.m. Saturday, February 1 on Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike.
Authorities said a BMW was traveling on Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike when it drifted across the center divider and collided with another vehicle operated by Durgan.
Durgan suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Bradley Memorial Hospital.
Vincent Fairbanks, 23, of Meriden, who was an occupant of the BMW, died at the scene of the crash. Another occupant, Allissa Ducas, 21, of Meriden, was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury with major injuries.
