Man Killed in Enfield Pedestrian Accident at Oliver and Office Roads
Enfield, Connecticut (February 9, 2020) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Saturday night on Route 5 in Enfield, according to a police report.
The deadly pedestrian accident took place at about 7:30 p.m. Saturday, February 8 at the intersection of Oliver and Office roads.
As per the police report, the man was walking in the area when a 2012 Hyundai Sonata hit him.
The man died in the accident. His name has not been released pending notification of family.
Route 5 was closed for several hours following the accident. The road was reopened just after 11:30 p.m.
The accident remains under investigation.
