Pedestrian Dies after Being Struck by Vehicle on Hamilton Avenue in Greenwich

Man Killed in Greenwich Pedestrian Accident on Hamilton Avenue near Two Door Restaurant

Greenwich, Connecticut (January 28, 2020) –  A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle Friday evening in Greenwich, authorities said.

The deadly pedestrian accident happened at around 6:25 p.m. Friday, January 24 on Hamilton Avenue near the Two Door Restaurant.

Police said the pedestrian, a 84-year-old Greenwich man, was crossing the street on Hamilton Avenue when he was hit by a 1998 Toyota 4 Runner driven by a 24-year-old Stamford woman.

The man was taken to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries over the weekend.

The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
