Meghan Nealy Critically Injured in Fatal 2-Vehicle Crash on River Road in Shelton

Meghan Nealy Hospitalized after Shelton Car Accident on River Road near Murphy’s Lane and Rocky Rest Road

Shelton, Connecticut (February 10, 2020) – Two people were killed and two others were injured Sunday night in  two-vehicle accident in Shelton, police said.

The deadly crash took place at around 11:30 p.m. Sunday, February 9 on River Road near Murphy’s Lane and Rocky Rest Road.

Authorities said a white Toyota RAV4 collided with a white BMW 5 series on River Road.

Two people in the BMW, Lily Pirulli, 20, of Monroe, and Adrian Miles, 31, of Ansonia, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Meghan Nealy, 26, of Ansonia, and another occupant of the BMW were transported to area hospitals. Nealy was listed in critical condition.

The sole occupant and driver of the RAV4 was evaluated at the crash site and released.

Authorities closed the road for several hours as a result of the crash. The roadway was later reopened.
