Lily Pirulli ID’d as 1 of 2 Victims Killed in Shelton Car Accident on River Road near Murphy’s Lane and Rocky Rest Road
Shelton, Connecticut (February 10, 2020) – One of the two people who were killed Sunday night in a two-vehicle crash in Shelton has been identified as Lily Pirulli, 20, of Monroe.
The fatal accident happened at around 11:30 p.m. Sunday, February 9 on River Road near Murphy’s Lane and Rocky Rest Road.
Authorities said a white Toyota RAV4 collided with a white BMW 5 series on River Road.
Pirulli and another person in the BMW were pronounced dead at the scene. The other two occupants of the BMW were transported to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
The sole occupant and driver of the RAV4 was evaluated at the crash site and released.
The road was shut down for several hours following the crash. The roadway was later reopened.
