Kevin Dalton ID’d as Man Killed in Madison Pedestrian Accident near Old Saybrook Station
Madison, Connecticut (February 7, 2020) – The man who was struck and killed by an Amtrak train Thursday morning in Madison has been identified as Kevin Dalton, 47, of Madison.
The deadly accident occurred at around 5:10 a.m. Thursday, February 6, near Old Saybrook Station.
Authorities said Dalton was trespassing on the tracks when he was hit by Amtrak Northeast Regional train No. 66 that was traveling from Newport News to Boston.
Dalton died in the accident.
None of the 35 passengers or crew members onboard the train was injured.
The train was delayed for several hours just outside Old Saybrook following the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
