Jeffrey Ward ID’d as Victim Killed in Killingly Crash on Route 6
Killingly, Connecticut (February 2, 2020) – Authorities have identified the person who was killed Friday evening in a two-car accident in Killingly.
Jeffrey Ward, 43, of Danielson, died in the crash that occurred just after 4:00 p.m. Friday, January 31 on Route 6.
Authorities said Ward was driving his vehicle westbound on Route 6 when he drifted into the opposite lane and collided with an eastbound vehicle.
As a result of the collision, Ward’s vehicle flipped over multiple times before coming to a rest in the westbound lane.
Ward was declared dead at the scene while his juvenile passenger was rushed to Kimball Hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of the eastbound vehicle was not injured and remained at the scene to cooperate with authorities.
The accident remains under investigation.
