Daniel Paine ID’d Man Killed in Avon Pedestrian Accident on Maple Lane
Avon, Connecticut (February 14, 2020) – The man who was struck and killed by a vehicle Thursday morning in Avon has been identified as Daniel Paine, 79.
The accident happened at about 9:30 a.m. Thursday, February 13 on Maple Lane.
According to police, Paine was walking on Maple Lane when he was hit by a vehicle.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and they found Paine unresponsive and trapped under the vehicle.
Paine was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle involved stopped at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
