4 Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash on Long Wharf in New Haven

Four Food Truck Employees Injured in New Haven Car Accident on Long Wharf

New Haven, Connecticut (January 17, 2020) – Four employees of a local food truck were injured in a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning in New Haven, according to a local news source.

The crash happened Thursday, January 16, on Long Wharf.

Police said the food truck was parking when for an unknown reason, it was hit by a car. The impact of the crash caused oil on a stove to spill over several workers in the back of the truck.

A total of four people were injured as a result of the crash. Three of them sustained partial-thickness burns while the other fell in the crash and hurt their back.

All four patients were transported to a hospital for treatment. Their names and conditions at this time were not disclosed.

The driver of the car remained on the scene and cooperated with authorities.

The crash remains under investigation.
